Taking risks is more like breaking boundaries.
You just do it by being someone unconventional in a conventional space.

I just want my clients to feel empowered
I never want anyone to feel mediocre
I always want them to feel badass

Stylist/Designer
When I was a little girl, I never wanted to be anything other than a fashion designer. My mom kept these simple writing exercise sheets from the first or second grade and even then I was declaring “When I grow up I want to be a fashun deeziner.” So really, I have never imagined life for myself any other way.
When I am able to work with a client who trusts me completely, when I’m able to be fully creative, I am in heaven.
I literally light up in a fitting. I scream and sometimes I even cry.
I’d love to inspire more first generation Americans, children of immigrants, and others in the Latinx communities to go for creative careers. It’s often so hard for our parents to understand what we do for a living, or to get on board with the idea of us having careers in American dominant media because they aren’t connected to it. Knowing everything our families have sacrificed in search of the American dream we often give up our own American dreams to respect and honor them. I want to inspire everyone to keep at it!!!
Representation and diversity is not just important, it’s so necessary
We should all feel like we have a seat at the table
Creativity is the ability to make an idea and a feeling something tangible for other’s to see, feel, or experience.
